It has been a long time without you... but I think I'd like to write a bit more... and express myself a bit more. It's been a busy summer filled with work and I'd like to do something for me.
I stumbled accross a couple of "30 day challenges" online and I've been mulling it over and I'd like to set some goals for myself. Lately I feel like I have had to be a grown up and I'm not sure I'm ready for that. So I think goal-setting is good... but creativity is better.
These two I caught on Allison Lehman's blog that I stumbled upon using STUMBLEUPON.
The first is a 30day drawing challenge that I believe the blogger found on pinterest...
This second one is a 30day PHOTO challenge which I thought might interest my family of photographers! I think I will try and persuade Monique to do this with me and get her to post on here as well.
I would love some company on the challenge! I think it would be fun to embark on this journey together. I'd love to compare drawings/photos... see how our interests melt and collide with each other... I think this is just the ticket for me a coupld of weeks before school start.
I think I will start tomorrow (on my sister's birthday AUGUST 22nd).
I feel like this new journey/challenge requires a montage... perhaps with a song...
